KIMWASCO water tariffs are structured in consumption blocks rather than a flat per-unit rate. The tariff structure is approved by WASREB so higher-volume consumers pay proportionally more.
- Baseline block: KES 530 for 0-6 m3 consumption.
- Deposits: tiered by consumer category and expected consumption.
- Full tariff schedule: meter rent, full tariff bands, sewer tariffs and penalties should be published from the current WASREB-gazetted notice once supplied by the client.
