Water kiosks

65 kiosks serve non-metered customers. Operating hours are 7:00 AM-5:30 PM. Current jerrican pricing needs client confirmation before publication.

Water trucking

Bulk water delivery for customers outside the network or needing larger supply, priced by distance through the trucking rate schedule.

Boreholes

Four operated boreholes support access at Ukasi, Kakunike, Kanzui and Tyaa Kamuthale.

Sanitation services

Basic sanitation access, public toilet operation in Mwingi town, and low-income sanitation improvement planning.

KIMWASCO

Operational Detail

KIMWASCO uses alternative service channels where the piped network does not yet reach every customer. Water kiosks serve non-metered consumers between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM, while water trucking supports customers outside the network or those requiring bulk supply.

The company operates boreholes at Ukasi, Kakunike, Kanzui and Tyaa Kamuthale. Sanitation work focuses on practical access in low-income areas, including the public toilet in Mwingi town and a WSTF UBSUP funding proposal for sanitation upgrades in low-income parts of town.
