KIMWASCO · Water is life

More ways to reach safe water.

Where the network does not reach yet, kiosks, water bowsers, boreholes and livestock watering points help communities get what they need.

KIMWASCO

Operational Detail

KIMWASCO uses alternative service channels where the piped network does not yet reach every customer. Water kiosks serve non-metered consumers between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM, while water trucking supports customers outside the network or those requiring bulk supply.

The company operates boreholes at Ukasi, Kakunike, Kanzui and Tyaa Kamuthale. Sanitation work focuses on practical access in low-income areas, including the public toilet in Mwingi town and a WSTF UBSUP funding proposal for sanitation upgrades in low-income parts of town.

The current kiosk price and trucking rate schedule should be confirmed by the client before publishing exact figures.
